| Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UP) is made of dicarboxylic acid and glycol, saturated dibasic acid, dihydric glycol and becomes a viscous liquid by an esterification reaction and addition of styrene monomer (SM). Viscosity and reactivity can be adjusted depending on the application and conditions of use. It is easy to apply and cure, resulting in excellent mechanical strength, water resistance, weather resistance and chemical resistance. Its wide-range applications include casting art products, polyester plywood, buttons, flow-coater, paint, soil fill, artificial marble building materials, tanks, pipes, ships, automobile parts and many other applications. |
